Ann Pumpian is the senior vice president of finance and chief financial officer for Sharp HealthCare. On a corporate-wide basis, Pumpian is responsible for: accounting, payroll, claims processing and accounts payable, cash management, cost accounting, contracting and managed care finance, patient financial services, materials management, capital financing and strategic financial planning. Pumpian has more than 20 years of experience in health care. She joined Sharp HealthCare in 1984 and was promoted to her current position in 1993.

Pumpian holds Bachelor of Science, Master of Science and Master of Business Administration degrees with specialization in accounting and health care financial management from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. 

Pumpian received the Sharp HealthCare Leadership Award in 1991 and the YWCA Tribute to Women in Industry (“TWIN”) Award in 1987. Pumpian currently serves on the board of directors of Sharp Health Plan. She is also a certified public accountant.
