Welcome to the 2010 Sharp Lends a Hand Program

Last year, the people of Sharp HealthCare volunteered at five community projects. You demonstrated your passion for helping others by giving 5,500 hours of personal time.

Once again, you have the chance to combine your passion with other giving people to make a difference in San Diego through Sharp Lends a Hand.

By harnessing the energy and enthusiasm of 14,000 employees, we will provide the people-power — the volunteer labor — for a project that ignites your passion for improving the health of San Diego.

So how does this work?
Between Oct. 1 and Nov. 10, Sharp employees and the San Diego community were invited to tell us about community service projects that they care about that promise real change.

What's Next?
Sharp Lends a Hand project ideas will be voted on by Sharp HealthCare's employees in November 2009.

The project winners will be posted on Sharp.com in December so be sure to check back here to see what projects we'll be completing together in 2010.
