Sharp HealthCare at a glance.

Sharp HealthCare is a not-for-profit integrated regional health care delivery system based in San Diego, Calif. Sharp includes four acute-care hospitals, three specialty hospitals and two affiliated medical groups, plus a full spectrum of other facilities and services.

Managed Care Contracts

Sharp hospitals hold six capitated commercial HMO contracts and two capitated senior HMO contracts. Effective Jan. 1, 2005, Sharp hospitals will hold only one capitated senior HMO contract.

Medical Clinics

Sharp Rees-Stealy Medical Centers serve Carmel Valley/Del Mar, Chula Vista, Downtown, El Cajon, La Mesa, Mira Mesa, Otay Ranch, Point Loma, Rancho Bernardo, San Diego, Scripps Ranch and Serra Mesa.

Sharp Senior Health Centers serve San Diego and El Cajon.
