Innovative User of Business Technology InformationWeek selected Sharp HealthCare as one of the nation’s 250 leading users of business technology for its 2009 InformationWeek 500 list. Best Hospital in San Diego Readers of The San Diego Union-Tribune recognized Sharp HealthCare as San Diego's "Best Hospital" in the newspaper's "Best of San Diego" Readers' Poll for 2009. This is the third year in a row Sharp has been honored with this title. The issue was published on Aug. 2, 2009.
"Most Wired" Health Care System, 11th Year in a Row Sharp HealthCare was named one of the nation's "Most Wired" health care systems for the 11th consecutive year by Hospitals & Health Networks magazine in the annual Most Wired Survey and Benchmark Study. "Most Wired" hospitals are committed to using technology to enhance quality of care for both patients and staff.
American Heart Association Honors Sharp Grossmont Hospital With Gold Awards Sharp Grossmont Hospital is honored by the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association's Get With the Guidelines Program with two gold awards. The program recognizes achievement in quality care for treating cardiac patients with coronary artery disease, heart failure and stroke.
