The Sharp Experience

The Sharp Experience is what we call our Sharp culture. It involves enhancing how we interact with and serve our patients and their families, our affiliated physicians and our colleagues.

We strive every day to help Sharp be the best place to work, the best place to practice medicine and the best place to receive care.

Through The Sharp Experience, we focus on patients and families and bring the best of Sharp to the forefront. A few things we do to encompass this culture at Sharp include:

  • Sharp Coronado distributes specially baked banana bread loaves to discharged patients
  • Sharp HospiceCare volunteers sew Memory Bears for patients’ families to provide comfort after loss
  • Visitors to Sharp Memorial Hospital can enjoy fresh fruit and spa water in Family Lounges while they wait for loved ones
