Dr. Daniel Cepin
Dr. Daniel Cepin, medical director, Cardiology Services at Sharp Chula Vista. Dr. Cepin received his undergraduate degree from Hunter College in New York City and his medical degree from Temple University in Philadelphia. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Temple University Hospital where he also completed a fellowship in cardiology.

Dr. Cepin is board certified by the American Board of Interventional Cardiology, the American Board of Internal Medicine and is also certified in cardiovascular disease. He also served as chief of the medical staff at Sharp Chula Vista in 1993. A 20-year member of both the American College of Cardiology and the San Diego County Medical Society, Dr. Cepin remains active and involved in the local medical community.

Dr. Philip Bajo
Dr. Philip Bajo, FACC, medical director, Cardiac Rehabilitation at Sharp Chula Vista. Dr. Bajo received his undergraduate degree from the University of San Diego and completed his medical degree at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He completed his residency throughout several Tulane-affiliated hospitals as well as a fellowship in invasive cardiology at Mercy Hospital and Medical Center in San Diego.

Dr. Bajo is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in both internal medicine and cardiovascular diseases. He is a member of the California Medical Association and San Diego County Medical Society, and is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Bajo formerly served as medical director of chest pain center services and as chief of the medical staff at Sharp Chula Vista. 

In the ever-changing world of medicine, Dr. Bajo keeps a humble perspective on his role as a physician, saying, “Medicine’s art and science are here within me. All I do is let that celestial gift flow through, then healing follows.”
