Wigs, Hats and Turbans Program

At Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center, we realize the hardships cancer can cause on patients wanting to look great and feel their best during a physically, emotionally and socially difficult time. That's why we offer free wigs, hats and turbans, provided in partnership with the American Cancer Society, to patients who have cancer and are coping with hair loss caused by chemotherapy.

Offering dozens of different styles, we also offer one-on-one appointments during which patients select their wig, hat or turban and are taught how to wear it to their specifications. Wigs and appointments are provided free of charge. Appointments can be made by calling the Volunteer Services office at 619-502-3606.
