Pregnancy is a time of excitement and anticipation. If you are expecting a baby, it can also be an overwhelming time, full of preparation and questions.

Childbirth education has many benefits, including reducing the amount of stress in labor. When you understand the process of labor, it is easier to allow your body to do what it needs to do.

That's why Sharp HealthCare offers education through birthing classes, including online childbirth classes, to help busy parents-to-be feel better prepared by getting the answers they need.

Our online childbirth class offers an interactive tutorial that allows you to learn at your own pace in preparation for your baby's birth.

How Online Childbirth Classes Work

  • Purchase the online childbirth class through Sharp HealthCare online or by calling 1-800-82-SHARP (1-800-827-4277), Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 6 pm. The online class is $75.
  • Once you purchase the course, you'll be provided a code to access the online childbirth class. Please note that codes will only be provided during business hours, which are Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 6 pm.
  • Visit Sharp's Online Childbirth Class and log in using your code.
  • Your code will allow you to access the course for six weeks from the date of activation, at which point the code will expire. You must activate your code within 90 days.

If you'd like to tour a hospital, register for a complementary hospital tour at Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center, Sharp Grossmont Hospital or Sharp Mary Birch Hospital for Women & Newborns.

Refund and Cancellation Policy
The online course is subject to the following:

If you wish to cancel, please notify us at least three business days after you have activated your online course. A $10 processing fee will be incurred for all refunds requested within three business days of activation. Failure to activate your course within 90 days of receiving your code forfeits the course fee.
