At Sharp Coronado, our respiratory therapists offer the highest level of care, and adhere to national safety and quality guidelines. Sharp Coronado has received Quality Respiratory Care Recognition from the American Association of Respiratory Care.

For patients who require a higher level of care than can be provided in their home but do not require hospitalization, Sharp skilled nursing facilities can be the answer to a wide range of needs. When a patient who needs ventilator care is admitted to Sharp Coronado Hospital, physicians, nurses and social workers orient family and support members in how best to be part of the patient care, from communication to functions such as bathing or moving.
