Behavioral Health Inpatient Programs at Sharp Grossmont

In addition to its outpatient care, Sharp Grossmont's Behavioral Health Center offers inpatient programs that are also lead by a team of experts, including physicians, psychologists, nurses and social workers. Our specialized treatment programs are designed to address the specific needs and conditions of our patients.

FOCUS Program — Treatment for adults who suffer from a psychiatric illness and who are currently experiencing symptoms such as psychosis, delusions, depression, grief, anxiety, panic, obsessive-compulsive disorders and traumatic stress syndromes.

Intensive Treatment Program — Treatment for short-term crisis intervention in a safe, secure and structured environment. The goal of this program is a rapid recovery from the symptoms of illness and a return home or placement in a comfortable, structured living arrangement.

Medical Psychiatric Program — Psychiatric care for adults who are suffering from a psychiatric disability in addition to a medical condition.

Older Adult Program — Individualized treatment for older adults who are 60 years of age or older and are suffering from depression, anxiety, memory problems, confusion or many other ailments that are common for their age bracket.
