Behavioral Health Inpatient Programs

FOCUS Program
Treatment for adults who suffer from a psychiatric illness and who are currently experiencing symptoms such as psychosis, delusions, depression, grief, anxiety, panic, obsessive-compulsive disorders and traumatic stress syndromes.

Intensive Treatment Program
Treatment for short-term crisis intervention in a safe, secure and structured environment. The goal of this program is a rapid recovery from the symptoms of illness and a return home or placement in a comfortable, structured living arrangement.

Medical Psychiatric Program
Psychiatric care for adults who are suffering from a psychiatric disability in addition to a medical condition.

Older Adult Program
Individualized treatment for older adults who are 60 years of age or older and are suffering from depression, anxiety, memory problems, confusion or many other ailments that are common for their age bracket.

Dual Recovery Outpatient Program
Designed for adults who have co-existing mental illness and chemical-use disorder, the Dual Recovery Outpatient Program uses an integrated approach to help patients develop the functional skills they need to cope with these problems. Outpatient Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) Program
Our outpatient ECT program is guided by a specialized team of mental health professionals. Featuring a new, state-of-the-art ECT room and the latest technology, our acute-care facility provides patients with ECT under the care of the treating psychiatrist, anesthesiologist, ECT RN and recovery RN.

Senior Intensive Outpatient Program
This cognitive-behavior therapy and case management program is designed specifically for adults who are 60 years of age or older and have been diagnosed with depression, anxiety or another major psychological disorder. The Senior Intensive Outpatient Program empowers patients to manage their psychiatric illness and helps give them the opportunity to enjoy life and thrive in the future. The Sharp Grossmont Behavioral Health Team

The team consists of a dedicated staff of experienced professionals who care for the patient from admission through discharge. The team includes nurses, licensed clinical social workers, licensed marriage family therapists, psychiatrists, pharmacists and case managers.
