Internet Access
Free wireless Internet access is available in all lobby areas and most patient rooms. Additionally, Sharp Grossmont offers a Skylight Access System in 310 of its 536 patient rooms for patients and their visitors to use. This system is an interactive media center with a wireless keyboard, which features Internet and email access, among other features, and can be viewed on the TV screen in the patient's room.

Parking

  • Main Hospital: Park in the Visitor Parking Structure (*P). Parking is validated. Proceed to the main entrance of Grossmont Hospital. Parking fees may apply, but validation is available.
  • Brier Patch: Park in the Brier Patch lot. Parking fees may apply, but validation is available.

Main Hospital Visiting Hours
8 am to 9 pm

Women's Center Visiting Hours
Family visiting hours: 9 am to 9 pm (support person may stay overnight)
Public visiting hours: 12 to 8 pm

  • All visitors must sign in at the security desk
  • Guests under age 12 are allowed visitation only under the following circumstances:
    -Relationship to the patient is child or grandchild
    -Relationship to newborn is sibling
  • Parents of visiting children must complete a health assessment form for each child
  • Visiting children may not stay overnight
  • Women's Health Center Parking Information
    Please park in appropriately designated spaces. The concierge/security desk will validate the parking ticket. There will still be a nominal fee paid to the parking attendant when you leave. For the continued safety of our patients, we ask that you always enter the Sharp Grossmont Hospital Women's Center through the main entrance. Please check in with the security desk for further directions.
