Beginner's Pilates Class in Downtown San Diego
This Pilates class is designed to teach beginning and intermediate-level participants core strengthening exercises to support their spine and improve their overall physical endurance in order to continue to do the things that they love. The instructor will go over how to tone the core, arms and legs, how to safely and effectively stretch and how to adapt Pilates exercises to meet specific needs.
This course is taught on floor mats that are provided, although you are free to bring your own. Small props — Pilates rings, small and large physio balls, Theratubing and stretch belts — will be used often and provided by the instructor. One Stott Pilates Reformer is available and clients are introduced to this at their own speed with at least one new exercise each session.
