If you would like to support your child in maintaining a healthy weight, this free online class offers your family some fun, quick ways to help your child develop healthy living habits. Learn more about the 5-2-1-0 campaign, which is designed to raise awareness of daily nutritional and physical activity guidelines, and get information on the available community resources that can improve your family's overall health.
What is 5-2-1-0?
5: Eat five or more servings of fruits and vegetables every day
2: Limit screen time to two hours or less every day
1: Get one hour or more of physical activity every day
0: Consume zero sugary drinks — instead drink more water and low-fat milk
- Who? Open to all families, but enrollment is limited to the first 20 registrants per session.
- Where? No travel required. Attend the online class from your computer, tablet or smartphone.
- When? Hour-long classes are offered quarterly.
- Computer requirements? Any computer with an Internet connection. An email will be sent to you three business days prior to the class with instructions on how to log in.
