Sharp’s Homes for Hospice Program offers patients and their families a unique environment that delivers care for patients’ needs in a comfortable home setting.

The Only Place of Its Kind
Sharp's Homes for Hospice are the only places of their kind in San Diego, and operate solely to provide care and compassionate support to patients, families and friends dealing with terminal illnesses. The homes offer a serene environment for residents and families to gather and enjoy their time together. The homes are staffed 24 hours a day by licensed nurses, and feature private rooms and semiprivate rooms, spacious living rooms and beautiful gardens.

Homes for Hospice are licensed by the California Department of Health Services. Reimbursement for hospice is generally offered by Medicare, Medi-Cal, private insurance or charity care. Sharp HospiceCare accepts patients based on their health needs, not on their ability to pay.
