Sharp Mesa Vista Hospital
Mental Health Support for Military Veterans
Honoring our veterans with compassion and support.
Due to the trauma of combat and the rigorous demands of military life, many veterans experience psychological distress that requires specialized treatment. At Sharp Mesa Vista, we offer a mental health program designed exclusively for military veterans and their families who are in need of unique, individualized care in a safe, supportive environment.
Helping veterans through an innovative treatment program.
The Veterans Engaging in Supportive Treatment (VEST) Program provides the resources, dedicated professionals and treatment options our veterans need. Applying innovative, evidence-based practices, we provide comprehensive treatment for post-traumatic stress, substance abuse and the impacts these conditions have on individuals and their families.
Staffed by expert caregivers familiar with military culture and the challenges of combat deployment, our therapy programs address the impact of combat stress and unhealthy coping skills, including tools to help manage symptoms and foster relationships.
We're here for you and your loved ones — every step of the way.
Family is an important part in an individual's recovery, which is why we encourage loved ones to be a part of the process through individual, group and family sessions. And our special spousal support program will help prepare military spouses to cope with the stress, loneliness and adjustment that can occur when a loved one deploys.
