San Diego Wound Care and Hyperbarics

Sharp HealthCare's wound healing services provide a comprehensive approach to wound care. Working collaboratively with primary care providers and referring physicians, Sharp's three wound healing programs provide examination, assessment and treatment for patients with chronic or slow-healing wounds. Sharp's wound healing services treat patients on an outpatient basis by physician referral.

Sharp's wound healing programs are under the direction of Dr. Michael Halls, a plastic surgeon affiliated with Sharp. The Sharp Coronado Wound Healing Service is staffed by certified wound ostomy and continence nurses (CWOCN), while the Sharp Grossmont Wound Healing Center is run by a nurse practitioner.
