Sharp HealthCare’s patient transfer liaisons are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to handle all the details of your medical evacuation.

These services include:

  • Arranging air and land ambulance transportation to San Diego
  • Contacting and providing assistance to your family members
  • Coordinating your arrival with a receiving physician at one of Sharp’s acute-care hospitals
  • Obtaining travel or health insurance authorization for hospitalization
  • Working with the hospital treating you in Mexico to coordinate your transfer
