Clinical Affiliation Process Overview

All placement decisions are made by education specialists or managers within Sharp HealthCare. The central affiliation office receives and processes placement requests. Each clinical or non-clinical area appoints a contact person. The central affiliation office works with the site contact in coordinating the placement of students from the schools we affiliate with.

Clinical Affiliation Process

  • Your contact for clinical and non-clinical internship/preceptor programs is Claudia Bock at 858-499-5366.
  • School must sign Sharp's agreement if they wish to affiliate. (No other contractual document should be signed at the sites).
  • School completes and submits Clinical Placement Request Form to the central affiliation office.
