New Graduate Nurse Residency Program

At Sharp, we are committed to ensuring that our 5,300 nurses receive the support and training they need to maintain a successful and fulfilling career. Starting a new job is a very stressful, life-changing event, and in the field of medicine, this is no different - often more difficult. That's why we've developed the New Graduate Nurse Residency Program to help new nursing professionals like you transition from a student to a skilled, confident practitioner.

Our San Diego-based nursing residency program is designed to enhance the overall experience and outcomes of our brand new or first-year professionals. You will participate in learning sessions, and receive clinical work experience and support from more experienced nurses, who will mentor and help you develop the skills to provide excellent patient care. You will be given the chance to ask questions and learn from industry experts in the field of nursing.

We are no longer accepting applications for our Summer 2012 New Graduate Nurse Residency Programs. All candidates selected to move forward will be contacted by a Sharp HealthCare recruiter or the program hiring manager between May 2012 and July 2012.
