  • Sharp Community Medical Group
    All enrolled members of Sharp Community Medical Group have a variety of urgent care centers to choose from throughout San Diego County, including the Sharp Rees-Stealy Urgent Care Centers. Members should get prior authorization by calling their primary care physician to determine if urgent care is required. Sharp's urgent care centers help diagnose and treat many non-life threatening conditions, including:

Coverage Information
Because Sharp works with many different health plans and insurance companies, coverage for services at Sharp urgent care centers may vary depending on the health plan to which you belong.

Prior Authorization
Members of other medical groups or patients not affiliated with a Sharp medical group should consult their health plan member services department or primary care physician for information on where to go for urgent care services. Patients who do not receive prior authorization will be liable for the cost of the services rendered. A copay or deposit may be required.
