Meet the Sharp Mary Birch Doulas

Each Sharp Mary Birch doula has received special training from DONA International — the oldest, largest and most-respected doula association in the world. In addition, each doula has undergone an extensive interview process and background check, so you can be confident that the doula you choose is knowledgeable, professional and well-prepared.

Erin Wilson

DONA-Trained Birth Doula
ICEA Trained Childbirth Educator
Certified Lactation Educator

Ever since she can remember, Erin has been fascinated by the biology of development, women's health issues, pregnancy and birth. Erin's educational background is in biology and public health, and her desire to support and educate pregnant women grew while running a clinical research study about thyroid disease during pregnancy out of a midwife clinic in south Los Angeles. Erin strives to empower women and their partners to see pregnancy and birth as a beautiful, normal process rather than a medical condition and to make their own informed decisions. She believes that all women deserve to labor and give birth in the manner in which they choose.
