About Sharp McDonald Center

For 20 years, Sharp McDonald Center (formerly Sharp Vista Pacifica Hospital) has provided treatment for substance abuse in a supportive, structured, homelike setting. Sharp McDonald Center is a 16-bed chemical dependency hospital that offers a range of personalized programs, including medically supervised detoxification and rehabilitation, evening outpatient sessions and aftercare programs.

Our staff is committed to providing dignified care and treatment to individuals who struggle with drug and alcohol addiction. Our Philosophy of Care is to restore the patient to optimal functioning in the shortest amount of time and in the most comfortable environment possible.

Programs at Sharp McDonald Center

  • An evening chemical dependency recovery program, including four to six weeks of group therapy, three nights a week
  • An extended residential program custom-tailored for individuals who require inpatient treatment for 30 days or longer
  • Day hospital/partial hospitalization designed for individuals who do not need 24-hour supervision, but are still in need of intensive treatment
  • Inpatient treatment program consisting of medically monitored detoxification and/or rehabilitation designed to stabilize and educate patients
