Nearly 17 million people in the United States have diabetes but almost 6 million of them don’t even know it. Left undiagnosed and untreated, this “silent killer” can lead to serious complications including heart, kidney and eye disease, as well as nerve damage and increased risk for stroke.

Our Team
Sharp treats more than 4,000 diabetes patients each year, and this program offers a complete cadre of medical specialists, including physicians, nurses, diabetes educators and dietitians to treat and educate patients and their families about living with diabetes.
