For more than 40 years, Sharp Mesa Vista Hospital has provided care for acute psychiatric patients in a nurturing, growth-producing, homelike treatment setting. Sharp's goal is to help individuals achieve the best levels of functioning and productivity. Services are provided in an inpatient, partial hospitalization, outpatient or home-based program, depending on the individual's needs.

Inpatient (in hospital) programs include:

  • Intensive Care and Intensive Treatment Programs
    Short-term crisis intervention treating patients in a safe, secure and protected setting.

  • Solutions Program
    Designed for patients who are experiencing either an emotional crisis or an acute episode of an ongoing psychiatric illness.

 Outpatient programs include:

  • Adult partial-hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs
    Provides treatment for adults with serious mental illness by embracing psychiatric rehabilitation to support patients' personal growth and well being.

  • Care for Veterans
    Our Veterans Engaging in Supportive Treatment (VEST) program provides compassionate, innovative and specialized mental health treatment for military veterans and their families.

  • Cognitive Therapy Program
    Short-term treatment for patients with mood disorders such as depression, grief, anxiety, panic, obsessive-compulsive disorders and posttraumatic stress disorders.

  • Dual Recovery Program
    Treatment for patients with coexisting chemical dependency and mental illness.
     
  • Eating Disorders Treatment   
    Designed to teach patients alternative ways to cope with life's demands and stress in a healthier way.
