Child and Teen Mental Health Clinical Trials

Sharp Mesa Vista Hospital conducts clinical trials for various mental health conditions. Children and adolescents may be eligible to participate in clinical research studies and receive study-related mental health assessments, physical exams and investigational medication at no cost.

Sharp Mesa Vista Hospital is currently enrolling children and adolescents in clinical trials of investigational medications for the following:

  • Depression
  • Schizophrenia and bipolar disorder

Participation is confidential and trials are safely conducted under the supervision of experienced physicians and research specialists. Eligible participants receive study-related mental health assessments, physical exams and investigational medication or a placebo (sugar pill) at no cost. Participants may be compensated for time and travel.
