Sharp Mesa Vista Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) Clinical Trials

Have you been diagnosed with posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD)? Are you suffering from symptoms such as nightmares or unwanted thoughts about a frightening or upsetting experience? Do you constantly feel on guard, watchful or easily startled? Do you avoid activities or places that you used to enjoy, or feel numb or detached from others, activities or your surroundings? You may be eligible to participate in a research study at Sharp Mesa Vista Hospital.

Participants must be:

  • Over age 18
  • Diagnosed with PTSD

Current Studies

  • PTSD
    This Phase 3, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study will assess a study drug, brexpiprazole, as an adjunctive treatment in adults with PTSD. Participants will attend 13 clinic visits over 36 weeks. All study drugs will be provided as tablets to be taken once a day. This study is appropriate for individuals ages 18 to 65 who have been diagnosed with PTSD and still have frequent and severe symptoms and who have been experiencing PTSD symptoms for at least 3 months. The event triggering the PTSD must have occurred within the past 15 years. Learn more about this study.
