Now enrolling for a wide range of psychiatric disorders.
When participants enter the Clinical Research Center they are welcomed by staff who maintain strict confidentiality. The participant receives a medical and behavioral evaluation and is given access to the many services of Sharp Mesa Vista Hospital.
Under the direction of Dr. Michael Plopper, chief medical officer and principle investigator of Sharp Mesa Vista, a team of five experienced research specialists conduct the studies. Each coordinator holds a professional degree in the mental health field and has experience working with psychiatric populations.

All of the clinical research studies are governed by U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations and are reviewed and approved by the Sharp Institutional Review Board, which ensures that patients' rights and safety are protected. Participation is voluntary and confidential.
