Transitional Age Youth Program

Mental Health Treatment for Young Adults

One in five people between the ages of 18 and 25 will be diagnosed with depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder. Often these young adults or their family members are unsure what treatments are available or where to find the help they need. Sharp Mesa Vista's Transitional Age Youth (TAY) Program provides effective outpatient treatment, structure and support to help young adults navigate these disorders.

Through individual, group and family therapy, we focus on recovery strategies, stress management, building social support and addressing drug and alcohol use. Our skilled caregivers use education and a combination of therapy and medication management to guide young adults on a journey toward a better life.
