This study will evaluate the effects of febuxostat versus placebo in gout patients with hyperuricemia and moderate-to-severe renal impairment. Male candidates must be 18 or older; female candidates must be 45 or older.

This study is for people who have constipation as a result of taking an opioid medication for non-cancerous pain.
