Health Tip: Signs That May Warn of Lactose Intolerance
(HealthDay News) -- Lactose intolerance means the body can't properly digest lactose, a sugar naturally found in milk and other dairy products.
The National Digestive Diseases Information Clearinghouse says common symptoms of lactose intolerance, which usually develop within two hours of dairy consumption, include:
Abdominal pain.
Bloating.
Excess gas.
Nausea.
Diarrhea.
