Health Tip: Tackling Family Dinners
(HealthDay News) -- Putting a healthy dinner on the table for your family each night can be a daunting task.
The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics mentions these suggestions to help you plan ahead:
Create a menu for a whole week's worth of dinners at once.
Stock up on items that are quick and easy to fix, such as rice, pasta, beans and canned or frozen veggies.
Cook extra servings of beef or chicken, to freeze and use later.
Ask every member of the family to help prepare a meal in some way.
