(HealthDay News) -- A temporary tattoo may seem like a harmless alternative to the permanent option, but even a temporary tattoo has potential side effects, experts say.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration says these side effects could include:
Redness where a tattoo is applied.
Formation of red skin lesions.
Loss of skin pigmentation.
Greater sensitivity to sunlight.
