Health Tip: Survival Tips for New Moms
(HealthDay News) -- A new baby brings plenty of joy, but also exhaustion and plenty of adjustments.
The New York State Department of Health suggests:
Finding someone you trust to watch the baby, so you can make some time for yourself.
Indulging in something you really enjoy while baby is asleep. Examples include taking a bath, reading a book, getting a nap or exercising.
Getting out of the house by taking baby for a short stroll, or visiting with friends.
Spending time with other moms to talk and share in fun activities.
