Available on the App Store
SAN DIEGO — Sharp HealthCare and Sharp Rees-Stealy have made their convenient online patient portal, mySharp, available as an app for iPhone®, iPad® and iPod touch®. Sharp Rees-Stealy patients and those who manage the care of Sharp Rees-Stealy patients will be able to use the app to:
  • Schedule, cancel, and view upcoming and past appointments
  • Get directions and maps
  • Send a message to the doctor's office
  • View selected lab results
  • Pay bills in full, view invoice details, view available statements and payment history
  • See allergies, conditions, immunizations, medications and vital signs

"We launched mySharp in 2010, and since then nearly 80,000 people have signed up to manage their health care or the care of their loved one online," said Stacey Hrountas, CEO of Sharp Rees-Stealy, which is consistently ranked as one of California's top-performing medical groups with 20 locations throughout San Diego. "Sharp Rees-Stealy patients enjoy the convenience of contacting their doctor's office, checking lab results, scheduling appointments and more, when it's convenient for them. This new app now gives patients secure, easy access wherever they have a wireless connection."

Sharp Rees-Stealy patients with an existing mySharp account can download the free app by searching "mySharp" on the App Store from any Apple device or by logging into their iTunes account. Sharp Rees-Stealy patients new to mySharp will need to sign up for an account by visiting mySharp.sharp.com from a computer before they can obtain the app. An Android app is set to be released later this year.
