This easy-to-make entrée will help incorporate vegetables into your diet while providing a colorful and delicious option for dinner.
Steam vegetables until crisp and tender and cook macaroni according to package directions. In a small saucepan, melt margarine and blend in flour. Gradually stir in milk and seasoning. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sauce thickens. Remove from heat and blend in cheese. Pour over hot vegetables. Add macaroni and mix together.
Serving size: 1/2 of recipe. 360 calories, 8 grams fat, 2 grams saturated fat, 200 milligrams sodium, 56 grams carbohydrate, 5 grams fiber, 15 grams protein.
