To assist employers in qualifying employees for specific job requirements, as well as protect the overall health of employees, the Sharp Occupational Health Program offers a wide variety of comprehensive physical examinations.
These examinations include:
Department of Transportation and Department of Motor Vehicles Examinations
Required by the Department of Transportation and the Department of Motor Vehicles, these examinations are designed to ensure individuals are physically qualified to operate motor vehicles with Class A or Class B licenses.
Medical Surveillance Examinations
These examinations are designed to protect workers from workplace exposure to asbestos, lead, pesticides and other hazardous materials. Audiometric, hearing conservation, respirator clearance and scuba-diving examinations are also available. Our physicians tailor these exams to meet the requirements of Cal-OSHA and the specific demands of your workplace.
Post-Offer Physical Examinations
The post-offer examination is designed to help employers place employees in appropriate work assignments. It includes a comprehensive medical and occupational history, along with a complete physical examination and may include functional testing as well as other components as needed. Our physicians are knowledgeable about the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) and can provide assistance to employers in this area from a medical perspective.
