Sharp Rees-Stealy Quality Measures for Chlamydia Screening

What was measured?
What percentage of medical group members, women ages 16 to 20 and sexually active, were tested for chlamydia?

These results are based on patient records from the medical group or HMO.

Why is it important?
It is important to find sexually transmitted infections (STIs) early. STIs like chlamydia spread easily and can cause serious health problems. If chlamydia is not treated, it can cause pelvic inflammatory disease and even prevent a woman from having children.

Sharp Rees-Stealy Score: 65.31 percent
