Robert Dusa, AuD, earned his doctorate in audiology from A.T. Still University — Arizona School of Health Sciences, and his bachelor's and master's degrees in audiology from San Diego State University.
His interests are in diagnostic audiology of children and adults, newborn hearing screenings and occupational hearing conservation.
How did you choose the field of audiology?
I wanted to use my background and knowledge in the field of telecommunications (video and audio), as well as work with people and I found a perfect fit in the field of audiology.
What do you do in your role at Sharp Rees-Stealy as an audiologist?
As part of our audiology team, I perform diagnostic testing on children and adults to determine if a hearing impairment exists and make an audiological diagnosis based on that information.
What is the most rewarding part of your job?
The most rewarding part is helping someone, especially children.
