Golf Clinic meets weekly and is open to individuals with some physical disability who are interested in learning golf. Adaptive golfing techniques and recommendations for adapted equipment are provided. Participants are requested to bring their own clubs. Golf clubs can be supplied upon request.
Individual needs to be able to maintain balance while swinging golf club, either from a standing or sitting position and have some griping ability (one or two hands). After assessment by the recreation therapist, a physician's release form is required to participate.
Evaluation and instruction is given by a recreation therapist and PGA golf professional.
