Reasons for wanting to be a Peer Support Advisor: I didn't have anyone to guide me through my time and I know what it's like to be overwhelmed with a life-changing situation. I want to share my experiences and help any way I can. I can share experiences and knowledge. I am a good listener and I can give advice.
Prefers to work with: Inpatients, outpatients and community members.
Areas of interests/expertise: Coping with disability, independent living skills, education, employment, driving/transportation, health issues, finances, recreation, relationships and intimacy.
