Reasons for wanting to be a Peer Support Advisor: I have been a Peer Support Advisor with Sharp. I love interacting with people and listening to their stories. The people I have talked to while volunteering have said I was a nice addition to their day and they were glad to see me.
Prefers to work with: Inpatients, outpatients and community members
Areas of interests/expertise: Coping with disability, Challenged Women's Support Initiative involvement, health issues, depression and mental health, attendant care
