To know I tried my best. To retire happy and secure. Given the opportunity, I would love to be an inspiration to someone who may be dealing with similar issues.
Reasons for wanting to be a Peer Support Advisor: I believe I would make a good Peer Support Advisor first and foremost due to my injury. I am completely independent and I feel that the things I do can be passed on to help others. I am also a big believer in prevention; it is not about fixing it after it's broken, it's about not letting it break. I am a very "glass half full" kind of person, and I feel I have the ability to get along with different types of people.
Prefers to work with: Inpatients, outpatients and community members

Independent: Living skills, education, employment, driving and transportation, health issues, recreation, relationships
