Biography

I was drawn to orthopedics because of the rewarding nature of the surgical treatment of injuries and disorders of the musculoskeletal system. From fixing a fracture to joint replacement, the positive effects on the patient's life are very gratifying. I chose to subspecialize in hand and upper extremity because it suited my personality.

I enjoy the meticulous detail and the intricate design of the smaller structures of the hand and arm. I pride myself in the compassionate and thorough evaluation and management of conditions that affect the hand and arm.

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my wife and three teenage children. I also enjoy walking, hiking and participating in my children's sports, performance and academic endeavors.
