Biography

I became a physician because I have always been a problem solver and enjoyed making things work better. A career in medicine seemed a good fit. My mission is to excel in providing primary care for people of all ages in our community, and to promote health and wellness in an effective, efficient, educational, easily accessible, up-to-date, comprehensive and compassionate manner.

I have been on the medical staff at Sharp Grossmont Hospital since 1983. I take my family and myself there for care. It is my hospital.

In my spare time, I mostly enjoy family activities. Swimming, biking and yard work are my exercise. A good movie also allows me to relax for a few hours.
