As a child, I thought about the miracle of life and caring for animals on a family hobby farm. My original plan was to become a veterinarian. Later on, when I had the opportunity to volunteer in helping others, my focus gravitated toward pursuing a career as a human physician.
Now as a family medicine doctor, I uphold the notion that health is a reflection of one's emotional, physical and spiritual well being. I believe our body's health originates around healthy lifestyle habits, our sense of purpose and a drive to better ourselves. My mission as a physician is not only to treat disease and injuries, but also to coach my patients to take the right steps to better themselves.
I enjoy being outdoors in my spare time, and my hobbies include hiking, snow skiing, running on the beach and bicycling on the roads and trails. Photography captivates my creative side, as well.
