I became a pediatrician specifically because I wanted to care for generations of patients. There are few jobs where you have the privilege to heal, nurture and grow with families over time. I trained at the University of California Irvine's Pediatric Residency Program and Children's Hospital of Orange County. I completed my undergraduate and medical school training at the University of Arizona where I graduated summa cum laude with honors and dual degrees in biochemistry and molecular biophysics along with Spanish literature. Communication is very important to my health care approach and I listen closely to concerns and educate patients about preventive health care in addition to maintenance of chronic conditions.
I am fluent in Spanish, and love to travel the world in my free time. I also enjoy playing and coaching soccer and am a Wilton Certified Level 3 cake decorator.
