Information About Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Coverage

If you are Medicare-eligible, you will be able to use Medicare to obtain prescription drugs. This is called Medicare Part D.

How to Access Medicare Part D
If you are eligible for Medicare, you may get prescription drug coverage through: 

  • A Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug Plan (MAPD) such as Secure Horizons which provides all Medicare-covered services including prescription drug coverage plus other additional benefits
  • A stand-alone prescription drug plan (PDP) which provides only prescription drug coverage. Individuals who choose this option would keep their original Medicare coverage.

  • Medicare
