What are the benefits of exercising?
Exercise reduces the risk of developing many diseases and can help slow down or perhaps even stop the progress of some diseases. Exercise improves arthritis and some other joint maladies.
What happens to our muscles as we age?
Our muscles shrink in atrophy. Strength training is the key exercise to combat this.
How do I get started?
First establish a good base foundation of cardiovascular fitness before starting a strength training program. Strengthening exercises should be done two to three times per week.
