Ovulation Calculator
If you're trying to get pregnant, knowing when you're most fertile can help you achieve your goal. Ovulation occurs when an egg is dropped from the ovary, placing it in the ideal location (the fallopean tubes) for fertilization. This tools provides you with a window of five to six days of optimum fertility (your ovulation date, the three to four days preceeding it and one day following it).
Calculating your ovulation date can be a good first step in attempting to become pregnant. However, you may want to combine this with an ovulation predictor kit and temperature tracking. Your OB/GYN can give you advice tailored to your personal medical situation.
